IT Support Engineer

Summary:

ETB Services, Inc. is a growing managed services provider (MSP) which focuses on providing top-notch IT support to small and medium-sized businesses. This position will mainly be responsible for executing IT projects and the handling of Level 2 – 3 requests for our customers. It demands a strong IT support skill set, great organizational skills, and excellent communication. Responsibilities:

Complete customer IT projects by meeting established expectations with all parties involved
Provide Level 2-3 support to our IT Support Administrators
Maintaining and meeting all customer SLAs
Provide professional self-management and self-direction utilizing our technology toolsets
Give feedback on the enhancement of our service delivery and improving our processes
Furnish written documentation of work performed and accurate time tracking for all activities
Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency requests when you are on-call

Qualifications:

Ability to understand and implement information technology plans which outline individual tasks, milestones, completion estimates, and project status
Work directly with the IT Support Director to plan and implement new technologies to fulfill customer needs
Setup, Migrate, and Support the Microsoft 365 Suite of applications – primarily Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams
Setup, Migrate, and Support Windows Server infrastructure (2016-2025)
Setup, Migrate, and Support Windows Active Directory & Azure AD/Entra Identity infrastructure
Setup, migrate, and support Microsoft Hyper-V / Azure server environments including in-depth knowledge of Virtual Machines (VMs) and Physical Server Hardware
Experience with Google Workspace
Design, setup, and support network infrastructure including Firewalls, Switches, WAPs, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, routing protocols, NAT, PAT, and security at all levels
Experience with supporting hosted VoIP solutions including new deployment and migration planning

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT Consulting position or at a MSP
At least 1 or more IT related certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, NET+, CCNA, CSSP
Familiarity with ConnectWise Manage or similar PSA ticketing system for time and record keeping
Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize, and meet established goals in a timely manner
A valid driver’s license
Must pass a background check
