I am proud to announce today we are celebrating our 10th Anniversary at ETB Services, Inc.

The time has passed so quickly and there are many people who have helped shape our business along the way.  It started with the encouragement I received at home to pursue my interest, continued through school as people asked for my help with their computers, and still continues today with the people I work with every day.

The year is in full swing and we have certainly been busy around here. Not only have we been working with our customers to keep your systems working properly and current, we’ve also spent the first couple of months bringing our own systems up-to-date.

My fiancée and I were sitting in traffic last week, driving north for a weekend of family holiday visits. As I gazed at all of the over-filled cars on the road, I started thinking about what we'd packed and remembered it wasn't much more than an overnight bag.

It’s officially the end of summer, the kids are back in school, and of course there are more changes at ETB too! I’m excited to announce the latest addition to our team, Karen Stiles (you can see Karen’s picture below).

As many of you saw in our January newsletter, not only has she agreed to be my wife (soon – May 2012), she has also accepted the position as our Director of Marketing at ETB Services, Inc.

As we’re heading into September, I’m starting to think about taxes and I encourage you to do the same. I’m not talking about filing them – I’m talking about planning for them.

Look at your spending for the year, what’s left in the budgets, and what’s the best way to use that money.

Do more…Be more! That should be a slogan (if it isn’t already), but that’s not why I’m bringing up. This is the phrase I’ve been thinking about for the last few weeks, since Karen and I joined a team to run in the Philly Livestrong event in August.

When I was choosing a language to take in middle school, a lot of people suggested Latin. They said it would give me a good base knowledge of language. French sounded much cooler to me at the time and I didn’t understand the concept of base knowledge.
