Erik’s Editorial Corner

erik_barnshawAs everyone is reading this in the week between Christmas and New Year’s, you are likely doing one of two things: Either relaxing and recharging or scrambling to fit everything in before the end of the year.

That’s what makes this week so unique every year. There are people who have had this vacation week in place since the start of the year (and you should certainly get that request in early, since it’s such a popular week for people to ask off) and they free up the space for the people who are trying to accomplish, accomplish, accomplish. That space is physical as well as emotional.

Now depending on the type of business you are in, you may not have the option to take your foot off the gas pedal at this time of year. But for many businesses, half of the work force is leaving the building and that means they’re taking their requests and questions with them. This leaves the other half of the crew the time and energy to finally focus on all of those things they just have not been able to get done. But isn’t it possible that sense of accomplishment and finalization could be as rejuvenating as taking time off to spend with your loved ones or to take some time for yourself?

However you are spending this week, I hope you enjoy it. At ETB, we have been proud to serve you in 2015 and truly appreciate having you as a customer. From all of our families to yours, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

Thanks for your business and make it a great day!

Warm Regards,
