Erik’s Editorial Corner

erik_barnshawThanksgiving and the beginning of the holiday season is upon us. I remind myself to be sure to not overdo it this year, to only go to as many gatherings as will allow us to keep sane, and to do our best to keep a low-stress, even keel approach to the next several weeks.

And that’s when it hit me: The opportunity for holiday stress is a fantastic thing for which to be grateful. I have all of these things to balance because I have so many wonderful friends and family, all of whom are well and able to create and join in these boutiful gatherings. And although our family has had significant and multiple individuals pass on over the last couple of years, we’ve also seen the next generation starting to come in. We are appreciating each other and the cycle of life more than we ever have in the past. For that, I am grateful.

I will always encourage you to do your best to find balance when things are high stress – whether that’s in business or your family life. But the next time to you arrive home from an exhausting day at work, remember one of the big reasons you may be tired is because you have customers who appreciate and want your services. While it may seem overwhelming sometimes, these customers and their demands help pay your bills and provide for the family who are so happy to see you walking through the door. Be grateful for these customers, for your loved ones, and for the opportunity to find a balance within both.

Thanks for your business and make it a great day!

Warm Regards,
