Erik’s Editorial Corner

erik_barnshawMy wife and I just recently made our first trip of the season to the shore. It was great to smell the ocean air and visit all of our good friends: Mack, Sam, Harry, Curly, and the Kohr Brothers.

Anyone who is familiar with the boardwalk in Wildwood, NJ knows I just listed my top five places to eat on the boardwalk. These establishments have been a big part of my shore traditions and I’m sure that’s true for many families who visit that same area each year.

It’s not just the food, it’s the familiar smells, sounds, and feel of these places. I love knowing that I’ve been coming here with my family since I was a young boy and I look forward to sharing these experiences with our children someday.

Traditions are something that we create and then pass onto future generations. You can make them the same year after year, or change them as you and your family grow and change together. The important part is to find something you enjoy… Something that brings you together and gives you a chance to connect in a very familiar way – Like your putting on your favorite pair of jeans.

Thanks for your business and make it a great day!

Warm Regards,
